AI Code Editors ( Finally good? )

Google launched Antigravity, an AI enabled code editor.

It’s very similar to Cursor or Windsurf, but for some reason, it feels AI first, not just an AI coding assistant, but more like an actual agent designed to write code instead of simply helping you write it. And that’s awesome.

For the last few months, I’ve made it my mission to automate everything I can in my day to day life using AI. In that quest, I wanted to automate a routine workflow I go through every time I create a YouTube video.

First, I have to convert the whole video into audio, then transcribe it into normal text and an .srt file (I use TurboScribe, by the way, great product). After that, I feed the transcription into ChatGPT to finalize my video description, titles, and other metadata.

So I thought: what if I just build an app that does all of this for me?

I launched Google Antigravity, told it what I wanted, and it did a pretty good job. It took a couple of repetitions to get everything right, but it got the job done. (If you’re interested in trying it, I’m linking it down below.)

Will a non-technical person be able to build something like this? Maybe. I did run into problems that definitely required my technical expertise, but that’s exactly why tools like this are so great for people like me. Developers with ideas and knowledge who want to build things quickly, but don’t always have the time.

This gap, this problem, is perfectly solved by tools like Google Antigravity. It gives you the freedom to create, and if it gets stuck, you’re there to help it out.

I’m genuinely curious what everyone else is building with tools like this. Let me know in the comments.
