Vibe Coding is Automation in disguise.

You love it or hate it. Vibe coding is here to stay.

To make it easier to digest, I think about vibe coding as another automation tool. That’s it. No overthinking about how vibe coding is going to replace me one day. (I know it will.)

Over the past 10 years, I have seen iterations of my favourite software tools. Where I had to do manual tooling and install packages in the past, we now have CLIs (automated tools) which set up and kick-start projects for us.

Our tooling has become intelligent over time. There is no denial.

My perspective of looking at vibe coding is the same. The goal didn’t change. We still are building software which helps our users.

We just don’t need 100s of developers to do that now. I and you can do that even with a small team.

Is it good. Is it bad. I don’t know.

But products are getting built and will continue to, whether vibe coding stays or not.
